The Giving Tree Project #4

The Giving Tree Project #4:
I love books, and i've always been buying books from the bookstores,
but i've recently switched to borrowing books from the library instead,
and I thought it would be nice if i leave some notes in the book
before returning them!
Imagine reading a library book halfway and seeing a note!
I hope this will make someone smile! ^^

Project Swan #4

Project Swan #3:

to make time for the people who matter,
and this boy here is no exception :)

The Giving Tree Project #3

The Giving Tree Project #3:
Realised a lot of my neighbours in hall are still in the midst of exams,
while lucky me ended two weeks ago,
so although I don't really know my neighbours,
I decided to cheer them on by giving them some cereal and encouragement notes! ^^

Project Swan #3

Project Swan #3:
My yearly tradition: Mailing a letter to Santa Claus
(haven't received any responses from santa before, but i haven't lost faith
because i had friends who visited the santa claus office in finland
and they really do receive these letters we send!)

The Giving Tree Project #2

The Giving Tree Project #2:
It can get really gloomy when it rains sometimes,
so i decided to bring my rubber duckies out and turn puddles into places for my duckies to swim in
dont they look like they are having fun?
hope it'll bring a smile to people's faces when they see these duckies too!

Project Swan #2

Project Swan #1:
Signed up to be a secret santa on Redditgifts
Thought this would be the perfect way to start my favourite month,
signing up to be a secret santa and preparing a gift for a stranger for christmas!
Cant wait to find out who the person i'll be preparing a gift for is!

First week of school holidays

The idea for Project Swan sparked off because I was planning my December schedule and I was so excited to fill it up with plans and meetups everyday, didnt want to waste a single day at all!
Managed to do something everyday since my school holidays started this week and I was motivated to continue this way for the whole of December, thus the birth of Project Swan!

A recap of the happenings this week

Day 1: Birthday celebration for Arthur (watched 'Planes')

Day 2: Finally wrapped up the project we were working on with HCA Hospice Care

Day 3: Date with Liting and visiting the lovely 'Google Translating Tokyoto' art exhibition

Day 4: Meetup with Zoe

Day 5: Outing with my dearest publicity committee- absolutely loved the movie 'Frozen'!

Day 6: A day of fun at USS with Vincent

December, here I come!

December lovin'

December has always been a favourite month of mine. I dont know if it's just me, but I always feel like there's this tingly magical feeling in the air during December, especially during Christmas week!
Have lots of exciting plans coming up this holiday - it's the last school holidays for me before i start work officially and the first school holidays i have no school commitments at all, so i really wanna make the most out of this holidays!

So, to make the most out of my time, I've decided to come up with two December projects for myself!
1) Project Swan: to do something i find meaningful everyday
2) 'The Giving Tree' project: because December is the season of giving, i would like to 'give' a little everyday this holiday and hopefully, make the people around me happier!
(name inspired by my all-time favourite storybook)

continue reading to find out what i'm going to do everyday! :)
